Please wear clothing you can breathe and move in. Athletic pants, yoga pants, sweat pants, shorts, skorts, comfy t shirts or tanks. Try not to wear things that constrict your breath. Yoga is also mostly practiced with bare feet although socks are fine too – just be aware that you may slip easily. There are some socks that offer more grip than others – tons of fine grippy yoga socks online!
We provide water & tea – cups will be available. Please bring a water bottle and/or mug if you prefer and to be more eco-friendly. We have yoga mats and props at the space, but bring yours if you are attached.
Most of our classes are beginner friendly unless otherwise noted so NO! All of our teachers are skilled and love teaching beginners. This is a non-intimidations zone! 🙂
Feel free to rest at any time in child’s pose, savasana (resting on your back), seated, or move to a wall or the reception area to rest. Yoga should feel good!
We will have ample cubbies provided for keys, phones and shoes, protected from outside view.
Please have permission from your doctor or health professional before joining a class. Our teachers are skilled but we are not medical professionals.
Yes – we have a set class schedule that will change from season to season. Workshops and special events are always being added. Please refer to our “Schedule” page or the front page of the website for our calendar.
Our classes are not heated, just a typical 72 degrees F which can be adjusted if people are chilly or too hot. Our studio is not equipped for hot yoga practice but there are many in Minneapolis that are!
If you have to leave early, please do so quietly and respectfully of the other students. Let your instructor know before class that you’ll be leaving early so they can be aware of your intention 🙂
