Beth Onward

My passion for yoga stems from my desire to bring wellness and therapeutic tools to people of all ability levels. While I have practiced Pilates and Yoga for over 15 years, my desire to become a teacher began after my mother was diagnosed with a rare and debilitating illness.  While seeking ways to help her I discovered a deep desire to help people be well and active. This sparked an even deeper passion for the healing arts, holistic medicine.
After receiving my 200 Hour Yoga Certification in 2012 I continued looking for new and unique ways to approach wellness. In 2013 I fell in love with Unnata® Aerial Yoga for it’s playfulness and accessibility and was certified the same year. Unnata® is a blend of all of the things I strive for in my practice and in life: fun, dynamic, mindful, and inspiring. I fell in love with all things aerial and in 2014 became certified in Aerial Play & Fitness as well. Aerial Play & Fitness is a blend of aerial skills from many disciplines and is both challenging and fun. In 2016 I had the great privilege of taking Advanced Unnata Aerial Yoga Training with the founder, Michelle Dortignac.In 2015 I became certified to assist a Thai Yoga Massage practice called Asana Stretch, which incorporates Thai Yoga Massage, energy work, and guided meditation; a practice I find incredibly therapeutic and rewarding. While working at a local Essential Oil company my passion for nature and natural health prompted me to pursue an education in Aromatherapy, which I am currently pursuing. I continuously seek out more wellness, yoga, and aerial skills and practices. I firmly believe that fitness and wellness can and should be fun, and I take that belief into all of my classes.
