Kara was introduced to yoga in 2008, in a free class in a church basement and has been practicing ever since. As a former cheerleader, dancer, and gymnast, Kara connected with the physical aspect of yoga quickly, but the subtle energetic experiences ignited her interest to take her practice deeper. Kara continues to study at the Yoga Center of Minneapolis, where she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training. Kara enjoys teaching a variety of classes and workshops, including Meditation, yoga for chakras, partner yoga, yoga and meditation for peace and grounding, intuition, yoga for the workplace and has taught at national conferences. Kara teaches from a place of peace loving empathy and hopes that students leave her classes feeling renewed and inspired to live in the here and now.
